Hi Cynthia,

I see how it’s hard to shove that essay topic into a specific “box.” Hmm! I think that a “critical analysis” is probably the best fit. Have you seen https://www.kibin.com/essay-writing-blog/7-essay-outline-templates-get-essay-going/ yet? Something else you could do is take “snippets” of a couple different outlines and make your own hybrid. For instance, you might add the “background” section of the research essay outline to the analytical outline to better fit what you’re writing.

Hi, I’m having problems identifying what type of essay should I write. My theme is: Smart cities from theory to practice, critical reflections applied to a real case. Is it an analytic essay? a summary analysis? a critical analysis? I am really confused about the right outline…Could you help me figure it out please? Thanks in advance!
