Hi Sophie,

I’m happy to clarify! Each body paragraph should have at least one fact, plus evidence of this fact, plus some analysis of your fact(s). The last sentence of each body paragraph should also help to transition into the next paragraph — it’s not really the same as a conclusion sentence, but it helps to connect your ideas together. In other words, you don’t need a “conclusion” for each paragraph! Just a sentence that helps to move into the next idea so that you don’t change ideas abruptly.

I don’t get it is the body paragraph supposed to be Fact the Reasoning then Example then Details? And why have a concluding sentence for each body paragraph?

Hi, my name is Gisela and I am an academic librarian. I would like your permission to adapt the content of this post to use it as an example in a workshop for the students. It sounds like you still have some research to do on ways to help internally displaced persons. Maybe this document can help you come up with ideas: https://www.oecd.org/countries/eritrea/35093445.pdf

The goal would be to find about three ways to help, backed by outside research. Use each of these three points as a separate body paragraph. Introduce the idea and discuss its benefits and challenges, use direct quotes from your sources to back up what you’re saying.

I really loved this cause it helped a lot but if you are asked to show what you will do to help the internally displaced what can be said in the body of the essay
